General Data Protection Regulations
Under the recently introduced General Data Protection Regulations
you have rights that are protected by law.
In summary the regulations provide the following rights for
individuals:

The right to be informed

The right of access

The right to rectification

The right to erasure

The right to restrict processing

The right to data portability

The right to object
-
Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
In order that
Thompson Parish Council complies with the regulations and to ensure
that it does not usurp your rights it has introduced a policy
incorporating statements of individuals rights along with a system
of checks to monitor the information held by the Council and to
ensure that data is not held longer than necessary and that
unnecessary data is not held.
